Description	Our Client is an IT consulting firm. They are looking for a talented a Storage / Backup / Python engineer. This is a permanent position. The work is done in downtown Montreal at one of their larges clients and will begin ASAP. Beautiful technologies and nice challenge are waiting for you. The wage is generous. Responsibilities: • Performs SAN administration (Hitachi HDS), management, and configuration including the storage provisioning process, thin provisioning, RAID and SAN troubleshooting • Administers EMC DataDomain related storage solutions • Responsible for backup environment administration involving Veritas NetBackup and data domain appliances • Interprets storage protocols including iSCSI, Fiber Channel, CIFS, NFS, NDMP, FcoE protocols and hardware which use these products • Provides capacity planning, performance analysis, assist with disaster recovery and testing, lead efforts towards storage consolidation and identify storage growth, manage configurations of storage media and storage management software • Develops, implements and oversees policies and procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance and data protection • Handles NetApp Cmode • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, associates, vendors, and management • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills • Ability to quickly locate and isolate operational deficiencies and process problems that impede production Ensemble de compétences Required: • 3+ years of experience in Storage • SAN EMC VMAX • VNX SAN FC Brocade • Veritas NetBackup • EMC DataDomain • NetApp Cmode • Development with Python (to provide GitHub account) • SAN Hitachi HDS • Development with Perl, Git or Nagios • Ready to do rotation support • English or Bilingual Asset: • Finance (Wallstreet) Expérience professionnelle Au moins 3 ans Salaire Selon l'expérience
